Factory Future welcomes informed contributions from industry professionals, subject-matter experts, companies, researchers, and writers working across manufacturing and emerging industrial technology.

Submission Process

  • Send submissions to editorials@thingsofbusiness.com with the subject line "Content Submission."
  • Accepted text formats include .doc, .docx, and .txt files.
  • Attach relevant images, author bios, company details, and supporting material where applicable.
  • For magazine consideration, submit content by the 20th of the month for timely review.

Content Requirements

  • We accept articles, opinion pieces, interviews, case studies, explainers, and industry insights.
  • Preferred topics include manufacturing, automation, robotics, Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0, industrial AI, energy, engineering, logistics, supply chain, sustainability, and emerging industrial technologies.
  • Content should be well-researched, useful, clear, and relevant to industry professionals.
  • Avoid overtly promotional writing unless the format has been agreed as sponsored or branded content.

Rights and Permissions

  • Contributors retain copyright ownership of their submitted work.
  • Factory Future may edit or adapt submissions for clarity, length, formatting, headlines, and publication standards.
  • We do not redistribute or sublicense contributed content without the contributor's consent.
  • Authors and contributors will be credited with a byline or attribution where applicable.

Style and Formatting

  • Use a clear, concise, and practical writing style suited to industrial readers and decision-makers.
  • Structure long submissions with descriptive headings, subheadings, short paragraphs, and bullet points where useful.
  • Include relevant hyperlinks to credible sources, references, standards, reports, or related material.
  • Avoid unsupported claims, vague superlatives, and excessive marketing language.

Visual Content

  • Images, charts, diagrams, infographics, and product visuals may be submitted with the article.
  • Preferred image formats are .jpg and .png.
  • Images should be high-resolution, ideally 150 to 300 dpi where print use may be required.
  • Contributors must confirm that they have the rights and permissions to use submitted visuals.

SEO Considerations

  • Use relevant keywords naturally within the article without keyword stuffing.
  • Provide a suggested headline, short summary, and important tags or keywords where possible.
  • Meta descriptions, captions, and source links help improve discoverability and context.

Review and Approval Process

  • Submitted content is reviewed for quality, accuracy, originality, relevance, and editorial fit.
  • The editorial team may request revisions, clarifications, supporting sources, or additional material.
  • Approved content is scheduled based on editorial priorities, publication timing, and available space.

Feedback and Communication

  • Our editorial team may contact contributors during review for questions, edits, and approvals.

  • Final placement, headline, formatting, and publication timing remain subject to editorial discretion.
